Ally was George’s pet alligator. Raised from a hatchling, Ally was always fed from the end of a red stick. George used a red toothpick when Ally was a baby.
The only food that ‘gator ever knew came at the end of a red stick. As a result, Ally was safe around people and pets, not recognizing them as a possible meal.
Years later, Ally is now a grown up alligator, and she is in the living room basking on the sofa. George is relaxing in his recliner, enjoying his grandkids as they play on the floor.
