Introducing Twister

In a brazen attempt to counter the efforts of environmental crusaders like The Breeze, it appears The Consortium has engaged the services of a rather rabid adversary in the persona of “Twister.” It is not clear how long they have been exploiting her special skills in their untiring efforts to destroy the planet for profit, but apparently Twister is The Consortium’s current Chief Evil Deed Doer.

Meet Twister, pictured here prowling the perimeter of one of The Consortium’s facilities, the Mammoth Pollution Generating Plant #3, located just across the lake from the quaint-sounding community of Harmony Hill, Texas.

Situated at the north end of Martin Lake in the picturesque, mixed woodland/farmland region of Rusk County, Harmony Hill was once a thriving, harmonious community. By all accounts it was an idyllic setting, until it was almost completely destroyed by an unscheduled tornado. The town never recovered, and her former residents are now either dead or relocated. Today, the few remaining homes are considered to be the outskirts of a neighboring town. Harmony Hill survives only as a ghost town, and besides a cemetery and a historical marker, nothing remains to suggest there was ever a town there. It is more ghost than town.

The residents of Harmony Hill would not have been happy about the declining quality of their environment, living only a few hundred yards from one of the country’s worst polluters. As harmonious as they may have been among each other, they would likely have been quite vocally displeased about the nefarious activities being conducted just across the lake. Hundreds of potentially deprecating voices are now permanently silenced.

How convenient for The Consortium. One might ponder the implications.

The peaceful citizens of Harmony Hill are long gone. The environmental abuses go on, and the EPA violation notices continue to this day. However, the fines levied for those violations are nothing more than a nuisance to them. For you, it would be like a two-dollar speeding ticket.

Among the country’s top polluters, The Consortium, with its many generating facilities, ranks only number 4, but it seems to be hell-bent on reaching that coveted top spot.

At The Consortium’s facilities, the primary by-product from their pollution generating process is electricity, and they are selling that electricity at premium prices to finance even more pollution generating facilities that they hope may someday push them to the number one position.

In their zeal to be number one, is The Consortium really evil enough to destroy an entire community simply to silence them? It sounds like a job that is right up Twister’s alley, but was she even involved? Perhaps it was just an unfortunate, unrelated natural weather event. A coincidence.

To this day the mystery remains unsolved.
